Christmas day!

We did this family shoot on Christmas day! Yep, you read that correctly - Christmas Day!

The youngest son in this bunch surprised his momma by coming home unexpectedly, so when she asked us to come out on Christmas to get some shots of the whole bunch - finally all together, I couldn't say no!

It was so nice to be part of the chaos and love of their day - Thanks "M" family for sharing your warmth and laughter with us!

Home for the Holidays!

How lucky is this family? Everyone is home from the far reaches for Christmas!

We loved how this daddy spoke to his baby girl in his beautiful Danish language

and called her "lovey"! How adorable is she?!

I can't quite remember, but I think this look was about not wanting to wear that vest!

Once we had her remove it, she was like a little model with all of her poses!

We have photographed her and her big brother several times -

but this year we got the new puppy too! Adorable!

Hillbilly Christmas continued

This family sure knows how to have fun! Every year their Christmas card has a different theme - this year was no different.

We were thrilled to be invited to take these photos - it certainly was one of our most interesting shoots!

Every few frames, I would catch one person or another doing something silly - like pretending to be picking lint out of their belly button - and I would have to stop for a second to laugh!

Everyone was in character and they were a hoot!

We can't wait to see what is in store for next year!

A true beauty

This girl is so fun - she laughs a lot, is kind to others and is beautiful inside and out! This was a quick 30 minute shoot in the cold , damp weather - but we love the light and the color it gave us. Isn't she just a cutie?!
